Belarusian NPP presented to IAEA
IAEA delegates have watched a film about the construction of the NPP and a presentation of the project in Vienna.
According to the presentation, a state institution is being established for it - the State Nuclear Inspectorate, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
The Belarusian IAEA delegation is headed by deputy Minister for Emergency Situations Vasil Stsepanenka. The Belarusians answered questions about the technical aspects and the economy of the project, environmental issues, sticking to the international commitments according to the Espoo Convention and the choice of the NPP construction site.
