Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affaires refrains from making statements about Abkhazia and South Ossetia

The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affaires has not commented on Russia’s decision to recognize the independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia yet.
According to BelaPAN, the press service of the Ministry has informed that it is not clear whether there will be any comments and when it may happen.

Let us remind you that the Russian President Dmitri Medvedev signed a decree recognizing the independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia on Tuesday. The USA, the EU and the OSCE supported the territorial integrity of Georgia in response to it.
