Belarusian Ambassador to Israel informs what Lukashenka thinks about Jews

The Belarusian Ambassador to Israel Ihar Lyashchenya has been called to the Foreign Ministry of this country. He was informed about the opinion of Israel about Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s statements. Let us remind you that the Belarusian leader mentioned Babruisk at a meeting with Russian journalists. He noted that the town used to be “a pigsty” and that Jews had caused it. The Minister of Foreign Affaires of Israel Tsypi Liuni’s attitude to the statements was distinctly negative.

The Israeli Ambassador Zeev Ben Arie said he was “surprised and felt pity” about the Belarusian President’s statement concerning Jews.

Now the Belarusian Ambassador will have to explain that in reality Lukashenka “respects the Jewish people”. “Belarus and anti-Semitism are incompatible notions”, - claimed Layshchenya.
