Belarusfilm inks 5-year deal with Bollywood
Belarus' state-owned film monopoly and Bollywood agree cooperation as Indian producers are impressed with the sites.
Belarusfilm will finally cooperate with Bollywood. The state news agency BELTA reports that Belarusfilm CEO Uladzimir Karacheuski and Scintillating Global Limited founder and CEO Jagen Mohanty have signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of cinematography for the period of five years.
The deal envisages that the Indian side will have access to Belarusfilm's services and studios. The parties will also provide organizational and marketing support to each other.
Indian producers will soon come to Belarus to shoot several musical scenes for a new movie.
The Indian cinema scene is reportedly very impressed by the Belarusian nature and the possibilities at Belarusfilm. Several Indian studios have expressed interest in cooperation with Belarusian state-owned film company.
