Belarus wins 6 medals at European Games

The Belarusian national team won six gold medals at the European Games on Sunday. Elvira German won a gold medal in the 100 metres hurdles, Maksim Nedasekau – in the high jump and Tatstsyana Haladovich – in the javelin throw.

 

The gymnastics team won two gold medals – in the all-round competition and in the competition with hoops and clubs. Sambo practitioner Vera Harelikava (weight category – below 60 kg) won the sixth gold medal.

Thus, our team have won 34 medals since the begging of the Games – 10 gold, 9 silver and 15 bronze medals. Russia is leading with 39 medals (19+10+10).
