Belarus urges to stop violence in Kyrgyzstan

Belarus has urged to stop violence in Kyrgyzstan. The press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andrei Savihyn has distributed a comment saying that “Belarus is watching the escalation of the conflict in Kyrgyzstan anxiously. Dozens of injured or wounded innocent people have become victims of this situation”. BelaPAN reminds that about 80 people died and more than a thousand were injured in the 2 days of clashes between the Kyrgyz and Uzbeks in the south of Kyrgyzstan.  The provisional government has announced partial mobilization and has asked Russia to bring peace-makers there.

The official Minsk is urging to settle the crisis down as soon a possible “taking the interests of both sides into account in a peaceful way”.
