Belarus to take 'drastic steps' to develop IT industry

Belarus is going to take cardinal IT industry development measures this year, Alyaksandr Lukashenka said at the opening ceremony of Belarus-Vietnam business forum on Tuesday.

“Our country is one of the European leaders in the high technology sphere and is a well-known software developer,” BELTA news agency reports quoting Lukashenka as stressing in his welcome address at the business summit.
