Belarus to suspend pork supplies to Russia until November 11

Belarus will suspend pork supplies to Russia until November 11. Head of the Russian Agricultural Inspectorate Sergei Dankvert and Belarusian Minister of Agriculture Leanid Zayats reached the agreement on Thursday.

The suspension is caused by the fact that the genome of African swine fever has been found in the products of four Belarusian meatpacking plants. The restrictions apply to cold and frozen meat and variety meat.
