Belarus students to launch European Week in Vilnius

The European Humanities University in Vilnius will on April 14-18 host the European Week, an international cultural project with up to 50 students and active young people from Belarus, Lithuania, Germany, Poland and Finland, the organizers said. The European Week is authored by third-year journalism and international law students from the European Humanities University. In their view, the European Week will help the Belarusian youth understand its place in the common European processes and will make a sound contribution to the formation of their European identity. The project also aims to create a platform for presenting Belarus and the Belarusian intellectual community to European colleague, the university said.

In the framework of the European Week, conferences, roundtable meetings will take place. Participants will also attend meetings with representatives of the European structures, a photo exhibit and video screenings devoted to the Belarusian media, European affairs and the issues of student mobility, reports the press service of the European Humanities University.

The European Week will be launched with a photo exhibition titled "Europe Through Belarusian's Eyes".
