The Council of the Republic, the upper chamber of the Belarus's National Assembly, on May 28 approved the bill in social benefits, rights and guarantees for certain categoies of citizens. It took the senators 4 minutes to vote. All of 47 senators present at the chamber voted in favor of the bill, according to Belapan.
