Belarus raises oil export duty
Effective from April 1, Belarus has set an export duty for crude oil at $340.1 up from $333.8 per ton, reports the official news agency Belta.
The duty rate has been adjusted in order to match a similar increase in Russia. The export duties for petrochemical products have also been raised since April 1.
Export duties for light fuels will be $241.4 up from the previous $237.2. The dark petrochemicals will cost $237.2 per ton. Belarus today also raised a special customs duty for the Russian oil imported to Belarus from $111.8 up to $113.9 per ton.
