Belarus proposes Russia to unify banned drug lists

Belarus has proposed Russia to unify the list of narcotic substances and psychotropic drugs, Belarus's Health Ministry said in a statement. As of today, the Belarus's lists of banned drugs match the Russian ones at 98 percent, but the Belarusian side wants a complete unification.

The Belarus' Health Ministry also recalled the imprisonment in Moscow of two Belarus citizens who were charged with the selling of Tussal pills, banned in Russia but allowed in Belarus.

The Health Ministry on October 18 decided to set up an inter-ministerial commission with the participation of representatives from the Interior Ministry, KGB, Customs and Emergencies Ministry to develop the national list of banned psychotropic drugs and substances, reports Interfax.
