Belarus proposes moratorium on 'Pole's Card' law

Belarus has proposed to introduce a moratorium on the application of the 'Pole's Card' law to the Belarusian citizens, Belarus's Foreign Ministry said during the Belarus-Poland diplomatic consultations in Minsk.
According to Belarus's Foreign Ministry spokesman Andrei Papou, the Belarus side expressed a serious concern that this law, affecting some categories of the Belarusian citizens, was enacted by Poland without any preliminary consultations with our country.

Andrei Papou stressed that Belarus had numerously asked for such consultations. In order to put the dialogue on a constructive path, Belarus proposed Poland to make a joint appeal to the international organizations, including the Council of Europe's Venice Commission, seeking to expose the Pole's Card to an independent international expertise, reports the official news agency Belta.
