Belarus potash company to supply potash to China at $290 per ton

The Belarusian Potash Company on 17 September agreed the contract with the consortium of Chinese buyers (Sinochem, CNAMPGC, CNOOC) on the supplies of potash to China. The contract will be valid till June 2019. 

The Belarus Potash Company will supply potash at $290 per ton, $60 more than last year. 

Commenting for the company's press office, CEO Alena Kudravets said: "It is a good price, an increas of more than 25%. We are confident this level will help to meet the need of Chinese market and the world market in general."

China is the bigget consumer of potash in the world. The Chinese contracts have a significant impact on the world market of mineral fertilizers.
