Belarus population down by 11,000
The number of Belarus' population has reduced by 11000 people since early this year, reports the National Statistics Committee. As of July 1, 2010, there are 9,469,200 people in Belarus. In January-June 2010, there were born 678 children less than in the same period last year. The number of those who died in the same period is 586 people less. The natural drop in the population amounted 15,746. Almost 4,780 immigrants came to live in Belarus over the past six months.
