Belarus to offer $200/month to foreign basketball coaches

The Belarusian Basketball Federation has announced a job vacancy for the position of the men's national team coach. Potential candidates are invited to call or a send a letter by e-mail. Aliaksandr Barysau, the former boss, resigned back in October 2007.

Vyachaslau Radnovich from the Basketball Federation, told the European Radio for Belarus that the salary would be ordinary: Br400-500K per month, according to the sport's ministry rates.

The federation has also been in talks with foreign candidates, including coaches from Serbia and Austria, but they will be offered the similar salary conditions. Vyachaslau Radnovich said:

“There could be even foreign specialists who could agree to work for this money…”. 

No candidates, apart from a journalists who pretended as junior team coach, have applied for the job so far.
