Belarus has not paid “Gazprom” for gas

Official sources have not presented any comments on the negotiations between representatives of “Gazprom” and “Beltransgaz” yet. The director general of “Beltransgaz” Dzmitry Kazakou, his deputy and the head of the economic analysis department arrived in Moscow, informs the portal tut.by. Unofficial sources report that Belarus has suggested changing the terms of paying for Russian gas.

It is known that “Gazprom” paid for 12.5% of shares of “Beltransgaz” (625 million rubles) on June 12. It was planned that the concern would get the money back as the payment for Russian gas.

But Russians have not received the money. It is also reported that Russia is going to raise the gas prices for Belarus to match the world price – 280 USD per one thousand cubic meters (let us remind you that Belarus has been paying 100 USD since July 1).
