Belarus discus thrower Tamara Sivakova wins gold at Paralympics in Beijing

Tamara Sivakova of Belarus has won the discus-throw golden medal at Paralympics in Beijing. She threw the discus at 41.29 meters and displayed her best results of the season. The silver medalist from China was almost one meter behind.
This is the second medal of 43-year-old Belarusian in Beijing.

The Belarusian participants have already won 13 medals, including 5 gold, 7 silver and 1 bronze medals. The Chinese are taking the lead with 203 medals, including 85 gold.
