Belarus to build first nuclear reactor by 2016

Alexander Lukashenka has signed a Belarus Security Council's resolution on the construction of the Belarusian nuclear power plant. The document sets out that a 2000MW-strong nuclear power station will be built in this country. The first nuclear reactor is planned to be put into operation in 2016. The second reactor will be commissioned in 2018, writes Nasha Niva newspaper.
