Be2Gether with ERB
An ERB reporter Smitser Trauchuk has set off for one more festival - Be2Gether. It will last for three days and will take place at the Belarusian-Lithuanian border. The money collected when tickets are sold out will be given to Belarusian children who suffered from the Chernobyl disaster.
It started at the customs. I was let to cross the border very quickly. Belarusian customs officers even made copies of my tickets when they get to know I was heading for the festival. They probably wanted to preserve them for historical purposes – they cannot visit the festival because of work. Thus they will have some tickets at least.
A European Commissioner of Foreign Affaires urged the visitors of the festival and the Belarusian youth to talk about the problems they see in the present-day Belarus.
