BDG turns 15 years

Pavel Sheremet, Dmitry Zavadsky, Svetlana Kalinkina, Irina Khalip, Siargej Satsuk, Aliaksandr Fiaduta are all the names that started their journalism work with the influential Belorusskaya Delovaya Gazeta investigative daily.

"15 years mean numeorus fines from the revenue and court authorities, a total of around $500,000.

I think that the newspaper has indeed influenced on the audience. We have had subscribers since 1992, the ones that read the very first issues.

They say the newspaper has shaped their vision of the country's development.

 

I have also heard from the government officials that the newspaper influenced on their working and the spirit in the country in general.

We have managed to make a newspaper that many people will remember. And, they used to listen to it," Pavel Marcau, the publisher told the European Radio for Belarus.
