Baranavichy fails to fulfill energy-saving plan
Brest Region authorities have presented a new, more ambitious energy-saving plan to Baranavichy although the city has not managed to fulfill this year’s plan. Only 41% of energy-saving paragraphs have been fulfilled.
Baranavichy authorities complain that the uneven production schedule affects power inputs. Many enterprises have to be stopped and launched again.
The worst results have been demonstrated by the communal heating system, education department, railways, Cotton Association and Machinery Trade. A clothes factory “Barauchanka” was the worst and its administration may be fired for having failed to fulfill the plan.
