Baranavichy bakery is fined for 50 base amounts for employee’s death
A 57-year-old electric welder died at Baranavichy bakery. He was working on a platform in the mill shaft and asked a metalworker to raise him a bit. The metalworker pushed the button and the platform started rising. However, he did not manage to stop it and the welder was squeezed by the construction. It has been the first fatal outcome over the past 10 years. The bakery was fined for 50 base amounts. The chief and senior mechanics and the metalworker have been fired.
