Azarenka in US Open semifinal; Mirny reaches final
Victoria Azarenka defeated Slovakia's Daniela Hantuchová 6-2, 6-3 in the quarters.
The Belarusian will take on Italian Flavia Pennetta in the semifinal, Pressball reports.
Maxim Mirny of Belarus and Czech Andrea Hlavackova have made it to the mixed duets final. They defeated the French-Canadian duet of Kristina Mladenovic and Daniel Nestor in the semi-final — 7:5, 6:7 (4:7), 12-10.
Mirny and Hlavackova will compete with the American-Mexican duet in the final - Abigail Spears and Santiago González.
