Autuhovich and Asipenka to stay in jail for another month

The investigation of the case of Vaukavysk entrepreneurs Mikalai Autuhovich and Uladzimir Asipenka has been prolonged for one more month – till December 8. A human rights defender Aleh Vouchak has informed BelaPAN about it. He thinks that Autuhovich may be accused of preparation of a terrorist act. On the other hand, the prolongation of the investigation testifies to the fact that there are no items of evidence, says Vouchak.

Let us remind you that entrepreneurs Mikalai Autuhovich, Yury Lyavonau and Uladzimir Asipenka were detained in Vaukavysk in February. At first they were accused of arsons. Then a case connected with preparation of a terrorist act was started against Autuhovich and “other persons” in June.
Lyavonau was released and exculpated in August. Autuhovich and Asipenka are still imprisoned in Minsk confinement cell #1.
