Authorities to spend $18 mln on 2020 presidential election

$18 million are planned to be spent in 2020 on the presidential elections in Belarus. Office Life has highlighted the expenses of the Central Election Commission in the draft national budget for 2020.
The CEC plans to spend 36,830,101 BYN or $18.1 million on elections, referendums and other expenditures of the CEC.
If compared to the 2015 elections, the cost of the presidential election has risen by almost $3 million. At that time, the budget had 263,965,859,000 BYN or $15.1 million set aside for this event at the October 2015 exchange rate.
