Aryna Sabalenka has defeated World No.8 Kiki Bertens of the Netherlands in a 1/8 final match in Wuhan, China — 6:1, 7:6 (11:9). The result of the match was decided in the tie-break. 20-year-old Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan (World No.50) will be the Belarusian’s next rival.
Sabalenka won the tournament last year (video) and is hoping to repeat the success.
