American Emmanuel Zeltzer to be sent to colony
A US citizen Emmanuel Zeltzer sentenced to imprisonment in Belarus is being prepared to go to the colony. He has been sent to the confinement cell in Valadarski Street from the KGB cell. Vladlena Funk, Zeltzer’s secretary, has also been delivered there. "Interfax" reminds that Emmanuel Zeltzer was sentenced to three years of imprisonment by Minsk City Court in August 2008. He was returned guilty of commercial espionage and usage of fake documents. Vladlena Funk was sentenced to one year of imprisonment for the same crimes.
The Supreme Court of Belarus considered his appeal last Friday but did not change the court’s decision.
