Alyaksei Gross chooses song for Slavonic Bazaar

Аляксей Грос апрануў вышыванку і вызначыўся з песнямі на "Славянскі базар"

Alyaksei Gross, ex-participant of the youth song contest at Slavonic Bazaar, has chosen his song. He and his producer Leanid Shyryn asked Belarusians to help him decide which song to choose  in March. He wanted something new.

Gross got 72 suggestions and the song for the semifinal has been found among them. Valery Daineka  also sang Uladzimir Mulyavin’s song ‘Oh, It is Raining’ written in 1978. Alyakei Gross will sing it on the first contest day.

“I wanted to sing in Belarusian at the jubilee contest and I also wanted to sing a song written by Uladzimir Mulyavin. I did not expect to do both things in one song,” Alyaksei Gross said.

Gross will also sing a Slavonic Hit – Pyotr Yalfimau’s song I Want. Maksim Puhachou will remake the song for him. The musician has also chosen the world hit –  It's My Life by Bon Jovi. The song has been remade by the band Radiovolna (finalists of the national election tour of Eurovision 2016).

Slavonik Bazaar will be held in Vitsebsk on July 14-18.
