Alyaksandr Makaeu asks to release political prisoner Andrei Kim on bail
An activist of the entrepreneurs’ movement Alyaksandr Makayeu is asking the General Office of Public Prosecutor to release a youth activist Andrei Kim on bail. Let us remind you that 22-year-old Andrei Kim was detained for participation in an entrepreneurs’ protest action in Minsk on January 21. He was released after having spent 10 days in detention.
A criminal case for violence or causing danger to the life of a policeman was started against Kim. He is may be imprisoned for 6 years. Kim is in the confinement cell of the Ministry of Internal Affaires in Valadarski Street now.
"I have guaranteed that if Kim hides from the investigation I will have to pay them 50 base amounts (1 million 750 thousand roubles)”, - said Makayeu in an interview with BelaPAN.
