Alyaksandr Hleb becomes official member of “Barcelona”

The captain of Belarus national football team Alyaksandr Hleb has become an official player of “Barcelona”. The 27-year-old football player has signed a contract with the famous Catalonian club for 4 years. Hleb’s manager Mikalai Shpileuski says that signing the contract was a historic event for the Belarusian football:

"A historic event took place yesterday - a Belarusian football player became an official member of “Barcelona”.

London “Arsenal”, the club Alyaksandr Hleb played in during the last three seasons, has received a 15 million euro compensation from “Barcelona”. The English club will be able to make 2 more millions if Hleb will be successful in the Spanish team. The contract of the Belarusian player also contains an article mentioning that the Belarusian may be bought from “Barcelona” for 90 million euro.

BelTA noted that Alyaksandr Hleb’s wage will be 80 thousand euro a week in “Barcelona” which is twice as much as he used to make in “Arsenal”.
