Alyaksandr Frantskevich jailed for 12 days for Stop Tax action
Central District Court judge Victoria Shabunya has pronounced the decision.
Frantskevich was detained near the Museum House of the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party on Friday. Drivers’ protest action Stop Tax was being held in Independence Avenue at that moment. Anstassya Kuhto and Nastassya Shternik detained with him have been fined for Br650 thousand and Br1 million 300 thousand respectively.
Alyaksandr Frantskevich is an ex-political prisoner. He was imprisoned for three years for “the anarchists’ case” in May 2011. Frantskevich was released on September 3, 2013.
The ex-political prisoner will mark the New Year’s Day in jail.
