Almost 85 million dollars needed to prepare Rechytsa for “Dazhynki”
Almost 85 million dollars (or 182 billion BRB) is needed to prepare the town of Rechitsa (Homel Region) for a republican festival “Dazhynki”. The money will be spent for construction works and restoration.
More than 400 buildings will be repaired before the festival begins. Reconstruction of the “Rechytsa-luxe” hotel is going on at the moment. An amphitheatre near the river Dnepr is being built. It will become the central spot of the festival “Dazhynki-2007” together with the town’s central square.
The festival is planned for September 21-22. Let us remind you that Alyaksandr Lukashenka traditionally participates in the festival.
