All neighbors ahead of Belarus in World's Best Country rankings
The popular American magazine Newsweek released a comparison study of 100 countries from various regions of the world. Belarus is ranked 56th. Only Albania is one position below among European nations. Belarus' neighbors are ranked as follows: Russia (51), Ukraine (49), Latvia (36), Lithuania (34), Poland (29).
The magazine made a comparison of countries' performance in five categories: health, education, the quality of life, economic dynamism and political environment. Belarus was ranked 91st among 100 countries as for the political environment.
Finland is ranked No 1 followed by Switzerland, Sweden, Australia, Luxembourg, Norway and Canada, according to this Newsweek's study.
