Kyrgyz activist Andurush Taktanasyrov on Thursday brought a grave cross with "Lukashenka' name on it to the embassy of Belarus.

"This is for Lukashenka on his black day. One day, he will depart but the memorial is already there!"

Radio Svaboda reports the performance act was to express protest against Belarus for keeping the former Kyrgyz president Kurmanbek Bakiyev. After the 2010 revolution, he was granted refuge in Belarus and shortly after received Belarus citizenship.

Kurmanbek Bakiyev and his brother Zhanysh Bakiyev were convicted in absentia in Kyrgyzstan and sentenced to life in prison and confiscation of prperty. They were accused of executing demonstrators and other grave crimes. However, Interpol refused to put the former president on its wanted list, citing 'internal rules.'

Taktanasyrov periodically organizes his performance acts in front of Belarus Embassy since 2010. In 2015, he congratulated Lukashenka with a new term in president's office by bringing stones instead of flowers to the embassy.
