Action of solidarity with Kiryl Silivonchyk in Brest (photo)
The poster that could be the reason to imprison the Belarusian IT specialist in Russia has been demonstrated there.
Unknown activists hoisted a large poster in Brest: “Glory to Ukraine! Long live, Belarus!” The poster appeared in the highway Brest-Minsk on April 22. It shows a Ukrainian soldier trampling down the Russian flag and tearing it part. Kiryl Silivonchyk could be imprisoned for this very poster in Russia.
Moscow Circuit Court imprisoned the 22-year-old Belarusian citizen for 2 years. He was a system administrator at a Nizhniy Novgorod plant. The posts Silivonchyk made on VKontakte led to it.
The young man was returned guilty of ‘justification of terrorism or public appeals for terrorism’. He urged ‘to kill Moskals and ‘return Crimea to Ukraine’, the prosecutor announced.
