Action of solidarity with families of the missing organized in Minsk
An action of solidarity with the families of the missing politicians took place in Minsk October Square on January 16.
Zmitser Dashkevich, leader of “Malady Front” registered in Czechia, informs BelaPAN that more than 20 people formed a line along Independence Avenue at 6 p.m. They were holding portraits of Yury Zaharanka, Victar Hanchar, Anatol Krasouksi and Dzmitry Zavadski. “Special police troops started forcing us out of the square towards Bahdanovich Street”, - said D.Dashkevich. According to him, none of the participants was detained.
The Belarusian opposition organize Days of Solidarity with the families of the repressed and of the missing politicians every 16th day of every month starting from October 2005.
