Police cars approached their camp at about 6 a.m. All the detained were delivered to a police office in Orsha.

Ivan and Illya Shylas, painter Ales Pushkin, bard Andrei Melnikau, Alena Makarevich and Zmitser Hvedaruk were among them, - reports the press service of the steering committee of creation of the “Belarusian Christian Democracy” party.

Let us remind you that the police detained dozens of people near Krapivenskae field yesterday. A traditional bard song festival was to take place there. The majority of them were released a bit later.

An activist of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Dzyanis Sadouski, accused of hooliganism, will remain behind bars till Monday. The police detained the car with firewood prepared for making fires in Krapivenskae field. It is still detained and kept in Dubrouna.

An Orsha activist Victar Andreeu commented on it for ERB:

“No holiday was deranged by the police during the past 15 years. The presence of high rank officials including the head of Vitsebsk Region police testifies to the fact that the decision was taken by regional or even higher authorities”.
