About 1000 Salihorsk entrepreneurs are eager to talk to officials
A meeting of entrepreneurs from “October” market is taking place in Salihorsk today. They are protesting against the increase of the rent from 5.5 to 7 euro. About 1000 people have gathered there. Officials from the district and regional executive committees, representatives of the local State Control Committee and the administration of the market have come to talk to them. The leader of the initiative group of entrepreneurs Tatstsyana Kuchynskaya has told ERB:
"They claim that 7 euro is a normal price but we do not agree with them. I do not know what will happen”.
According to Tatstsyana Kuchynskaya, the conversation of entrepreneurs and officials began in a very emotional way, everyone wanted to express their opinion. People kept saying that the innovation would destroy their businesses. So, officials suggested negotiations with members of the initiative group. These negotiations are still in process.
