33 thousand Russian soldiers gathered near Ukraine’s border
Deputy Secretary of the Ukrainian National Security and Defence Council Mikhail Koval has reported the fact.
The antiterrorist operation may result in the Russian Federation’s invasion to Ukraine, he thinks.
Koval noted that there were assault forces gathered near the Ukrainian border, UNIAN reports. There are up to 33 thousand Russian soldiers and up to 160 tanks now.
"The strongest forces are in Crimea (23 thousand Russian military men). The other strong forces can be found between Chernigov and Taganrog. Control centers have been established there. All these measures taken on the territories adjacent to East Ukraine testify to the fact that the Russian Federation wants to demonstrate its readiness to take part in the warfare,” Koval claimed.
