30-year-old captain dies in Grushevski Street
Minister of Internal Affairs Vitali Zaharenko has reported it.
The tragedy occurred at 5 a.m. on January 30. Captain Dmitrii Donets who had never complained about health problems before suddenly died of a cardiac arrest. It is the result of the daily tension caused by the confrontation in Grushevski Street. The officer was part of the security line opposite protesters’ barricades, UNIAN reports.
Two policemen were shot down in Kiev earlier.
52-year-old businessman from Kolomiya was reported dead today. He had been participating in the protest action in Kiev for 2 months. He fell ill after policemen had poured cold water on him. The man returned home and died soon afterwards.
