18:01 Organizers of action on March 25 are warned

Organizers of the Day of Will that took place on March 25 have received a warning from Minsk City Executive Committee.
The warning was addressed to the leader of the United Democratic Forces Alyaksandr Mіlіnkevіch, the leader of BNF Vintsuk Vyachorka, the deputy head of the Belarusian Social-Democratic party (Hramada) Anatol Lyaukovich and the deputy head of UDP Ihar Shynkaryk.

According to the UDP Press Service, the letter signed by the deputy head of Minsk State Executive Committee Mihail Tsitsyankou informed that the Committee “received many appeals from citizens and guests of the capital” who “expressed their protest against the organization of unapproved meetings and a manifestation that took place on March 25”.

It was said that the street actions impeded pedestrians and drivers and lead to accumulation of rubbish in the streets and to delays in the work of public transport and trade.

All that “negatively affected the capital’s rhythm of life” - is said in the letter.

The deputy head of the City Executive Committee warned the organizers of the action that “they will have to account for any future unapproved action according to the law” in case they decide to repeat anything of the kind.

Let us remind you that another street action is planned in Minsk on April 26. It will be dated for the anniversary of Chernobyl disaster.
