17:55 Oppositionist Siucyk found guilty, but remains free

A famous opposition activist, Viacaslau Siucyk, was today found guilty of a petty hooliganizm, but will not face administrative prosecution, because the charges were too minor, Judge Aksana Reliaeva of the Sovietski district court in Minsk ruled. Siucyk was detained on March 13 for allegedly peeing at Jakub Kolas square in the downtown Minsk and spent a night at a police custody. The hearing was scheduled for March 23, but later postponed to April 4, reports Charter'97.
