16:40 Alyaksandr Mіlіnkevіch to travel across Belarusian “Chernobyl” districts

The leader of the United Democratic Forces is going to travel across Belarusian regions that suffered form the Chernobyl disaster on April 21 - 25.
The politician will visit Luninets and Stolin Districts of Brest Region on Aril 21, Hoiniki, Brahin Districts and the towns of Homel and Brahin in Homel Region on April 22. Then he is going to visit Slauharad and Cherykau Districts in Mahileu Region on April 24 and 25.

The main purpose of the leader of the United Democratic Forces is to draw attention of the Belarusian and international community to the problem of radioactive safety and production of food in contaminated regions which does not correspond to the state’s radioactive standards.

Mіlіnkevіch is going to draw the attention of people who suffered from Chernobyl disaster to drawbacks of the state policy in the field of social and medical protection of the regions’ inhabitants and in the field of rehabilitation of children abroad, to the necessity of constant control and monitoring of the environment.

The issue of construction of a Belarusian power plant will also be discussed, informs Milinkevich’s press service.
