16:06 Czech Republic backs lower visa costs for Belarusians

The Czech Republic is set to make the Schengen visa more affordable to the Belarusian youth, civil activists and the representatives of pro-democracy forces, according to the letter from the Czech PM Alexander Vondra to the opposition leader in Belarus, Aliaksandr Milinkevich. The letter stressed that "changing visa procedures could only be possible, after a bilateral agreement between the EU and a certain country is signed, as was in the case of Ukraine and has been planned for Moldova". "The current leadership in Belarus is, unfortunately, not ready for such negotiations, the Czech politician noted in his letter.
