15:31 EU delegation to visit Belarus
An EU delegation on behalf of the EU High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy Xavier Solana is going to visit Belarus within the next few days.
The head of the Belgian Federal Parliament Jean-Paul Henrie has announced it at the meeting with the head of the Belarusian House of Representatives Uladzimir Kanaplyeu in Minsk today.
According to Henrie, relations between Belarus and the European union are at a stage when everything can become important for their future development.
He noted that the recent visit of the PACE President René van der Linden to Minsk and the coming visit of Xavier Solana’s representatives testify to the fact that new views on Belarus are froming in Europe.
