13:36 Study of the second building site for nuclear power plant is started
Experts have started the study of the second building site for the new nuclear power plant. It is situated in Shklou and Horatski Districts of Mahileu Region. The head of the presidium of the National Academy of Sciences Michail Myasnikovich informed about it.
According to him, geological, seismological and seismotectonic investigations are being carried out. As announced by the Prime Minister Syarhey Sidorsky, the project of construction of the new Belarusian nuclear power plant should be realized in 4 or 5 years.
On the instructions of Aliaksandar Lukashenka, the fulfilment of the plan will be speeded up, reports “Telegraph”.
