13:09 Jobless trained to work as cab drivers in Minsk

25 jobless residents of Minsk are expected in early May to start working as cab drivers. According to Alena Semcanka, an official from the Minsk City Hall's department dealing with social welfare and protection programs for the unemployed, the jobless citizens underwent a three-month long training to get driving licenses.

It has been the first case for an unemployment center to retrain the jobless at the request of a local taxi company, reports Minsk Naviny news agency.
