11:46 Ryhor Baradulіn discharged from hospital
A national Belarusian poet Ryhor Baradulіn was discharged from The Republican President’s Administration Hospital on the evening of March 16. According to the poet’s wife Valiantsina Baradulina, the decision to let the poet leave hospital was taken after the examination of the fourth thorax roentgenogram of the patient.
Baradulin was hospitalized with pneumonia on February 22 and transferred to the therapeutics department on March 1.
According to the poet, doctors from the intensive care unit treated him very good. “I wasn’t a simple patient but a friend of Uladzimir Karatkevich and Vasil Bykau who also spent some time in this department,” — noted Baradulin.
He expressed gratitude to all his friends and adherents of his work for the care and attention they showed during his illness.
