The World Bank has commented on Belarus’ plan to increase the average wage to 1000 roubles. Experts reckons it is a very difficult task for the whole economy. The average wage may be increased by means of a significant increase in the work efficiency or by strengthening the exchange rate of the Belarusian rouble, tut.by quotes World Bank representative Sergei Gaiduk.

The average wage of 1000 roubels (nearly $500) can only be reached at certain enterprises in Belarus, in the view of the experts.
